All shirts are $6.25 with the exception of 2XL and 3XL, which are $7.25 and $8.25 respectively.

Treat Sign Up

After school snacks are a big deal for the kids. I joke with parents every year that the priorities are 1.Snacks 2.Chess. While I'm sure you understand the touch of sarcasm in that statement, I do sincerely ask for your support in helping out with snacks throughout the year. To help with the process, I have created a webpage just for snacks. If you can either bring snacks or make a donation to purchase snacks, it is greatly appreciated. I have created a webpage where you can sign up to bring snacks on a given date or make a donation through PayPal.

We will be doing something new and fantastic this year. The Prairie Chess Clubs from past years will be meeting together at Prairie Creek on Monday afternoons. The Prairie Chess Club will be open to all students Grades 2 through 9. Instructors from the Creek, View, Heights, Crest, Hill, and Point will be collaborating this school to teach and supervise all students in one meeting of the Prairie Chess Club. This format will better enable students to receive instruction and to play other students that best matches their skill level.

Our Chess Club Schedule

Beginning October 3, the Prairie Chess Club will meet every Monday after school. Grades 5-9 Creek and Point students are released at 2:40 pm. Point students will shuttle to Creek by bus and will join Creek students in the Creek auditorium for instruction. When K-4 students are dismissed (3:35 pm - 3:45 pm), they will gather at the bus loading area and be escorted by the Prairie Chess Club Instructors to the Prairie Creek auditorium. Grade 2-4 students will then receive chess instruction and Grade 5-9 students will move to the cafeteria to play chess. Following the K-4 chess instruction, students will move to cafeteria to play chess. Parent pick-up will be from 4:30 to 5:00 pm.
