Cedar Rapids Chess Club
The Cedar Rapids Chess Club meets on Wednesday evenings. From beginner to master, players of all ages and skill levels are welcome.
This is casual club where players may start rolling in around 7:00 pm. By 7:30 pm you will find a group of people playing speed chess up to game in 60 minutes.
We meet at the cafeteria of the Rockwell Collins facility located at 855 35th Street NE in Cedar Rapids. Please join us.
Gray Knights Chess Club
The Gray Knights Chess Club meets at the Iowa City/Johnson County Senior Center, 28 South Linn Street in downtown Iowa City. Meeting times are Tuesday afternoons 2:00-4:30 in the mezzanine area of the center and Wednesday evenings 6:30-8:30 in Room 208. Players are asked to bring their own equipment. Gray Knights members are mostly in the 50+ age range, but membership is open to all players high school age and up. I'm the club point of contact.
